I'm excited about next month's Flash Fiction Block Party! Last year's poetry sharing event went well so I thought I'd add a new event. A poetry even and a prose event... sounds nice, doesn't it? And flash fiction has been on my mind for several months now. I write series fantasy and am not good at short stories but I thought maybe I can write flash fiction. Maybe you can too. It won't hurt to try. Not too much, anyway.

If all goes well, this month will be dominated by posts about writing flash fiction. I won't spoil it for you, though.

This virtual block party is along the same lines for submission guidelines. One change this time around is that the prizes will be three Amazon gift cards. It isn't a lot of money (I don't have much) but I hoped that a prize would make the event a little more exciting. Good luck!
